Came across Coppermine by accident. I just felt like a breakfast, googled my locality and read the reviews, which were excellent I was met by Paul, who was very friendly and had my sense of humour. Dry! The quality of the food served was excellent, very well cooked, I requested well done bacon, piping hot and a substantial serving Very well done to all and I will be visiting again soon

This place without question has THE best bacon and cheese toastie in the world. How do I know. In 2010 I went to bangalore India, they had nothing to match the compering creamerys bacon and cheese toasties. 2012 - The Olympics, people from around the world visited London but they missed out on the best toasties by not coming up north. 2015 - I travelled to Sydney , great place, nice weather but NO good toasties at all In short I have travelled the globe but nothing matches these toasties. The bacon ? - crunchy,well cooked and lots of it The toast - thick wedge and perfectly done The cheese - lashings of the food glue to hold everything together They should have posters of these toasties on political leaflets because I'd vote for them Do yourself a favour and get there and order one....( ps a cream donut How's really well as an aperitif)
