My friend Ron and I went for an afternoon lunch at the Oak Bistro. What a fantastic meal we had. On the advice of Tim the chef on that day ( and I do believe he is the owner ) we ordered the chicken, leek and bacon pie. It was delicious, and by far the best chicken pie I have tasted. Tim, who obviously cares about the food he presents came to our table and explained that the chicken he uses is free range, and he attempts to use the best of locally sourced ingredients. What a nice guy he is, what great staff, and what a great bistro. Alan H.

Fabulous meal this evening! Staff friendly& attentive. The atmosphere was very relaxed. Food portions were v good. Seating was spacious. The cost was v fair. 10/10 We will deffo be visiting again soon!!
