Recently switched over to HSBC from Halifax. Went in the bank for the first time yesterday as I had lots of change that needed cashing in. I was a bit worried at first after reading the Google reviews, but it's safe to say those reviews are outdated. I was welcomed on arrival, staff were super friendly and helpful. Even asked how I've found the switch and if there was anything else they could help me with.

Awful. Only open 4 hours so huge queues for the two tellers. Refuse large cash deposits without outlining the deposit limits. Hopeless. Lost a customer of 27 years today...

Strange opening hours in comparison to every other bank I have ever visited. The majority of the team here are lovely, however, one more senior lady made me feel like a criminal when paying some money into my account having sold many of our possessions to help support us financially throughout the Covid period. To literally look me up and down and ask where and how did you get this money was an absolute insult.

The staff are always very helpful here. The disabled entrance is another thing it was quite difficult. I was pushing my mums wheelchair so obviously was behind it and the access was a slope running up from the right of the side of the door so a sharp turn at the top and the button was on the far left of the door so I couldn't reach because I couldn't get passed mums chair and mum who has sight problems couldn't see it so she put the break on I had to go back down and round to the front to press it then run back to push her in the door which took forever to open and then had to be pushed because it didn't open far enough very annoying.
