        Olawa bakery is one of those establishments that rightfully thrives on its reputation. A whole irresistible range of Polish breads and pastries conveniently renamed for the English speaker. Whilst the extremely lovely assistant in the shop was not Polish (but still a dziewczyna kobieta!) she was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, sending me on my way with the best sour dough loaf I've ever tasted. My only regret is that as the bakery is only two minutes from my home I've never visited previously. A brilliant bakery and a valuable asset to an otherwise struggling Liscard shopping scene.
