Fantastic back to basics Scout Campsite, no frills - not even flushing toilets, just plenty of wood! Note this is Scout campsite for youth groups only.

Fantastic "back to basics" Scout campsite. Basically the site is a Hornbeam wood, so there is always plenty of fallen timber for campfires. There is a water supply and chemical or composting toilets, but you have to make your own showers if you need them. Great for Troop and Pack camps, but is excellent for Patrol / Explorer camps with a backwoods theme. Brilliant for Cub and Scout widegames, the campsite is completely enclosed by a deer fence so the children can get lost. The site also has a permanent storm hut with a cooking platform and sink at one end and a large fireplace at the other. There are plenty of tables, benches and chairs to sit a group of about 30. Please note this is a Scout campsite for Scouts, Guides, DofE expeditions and other youth groups. It is not a public campsite.
