Specsavers Opticians and Audiologists - Skelmersdale

Went for eye test and ended up dealing with 4 different members of staff who were all brilliant, really friendly and helpful. Great experience all round but then a couple of weeks later I went for my fitting... The glasses themselves were fine but the member of staff just gave the impression she couldn't be bothered. The full extent of the 'fitting' consisted of, "Can you read this? Here are your glasses. Goodbye." That was it. She didn't check if the glasses sat level on my face or if the nose pads needed adjusting or anything. Real shame because they'd been 5 stars all the way up to that point.

I had to go back and get them tightend last week and was dealt with straight away

Used this Opticians for a while now normally no issues but yesterday wasn't the best visit I took my daughter who's autistic who carries a small monket for comfort for social anxiety and when she meets new people some time she pretends that money talks so she tried to say hello to the lady on the desk & the woman just dismissed her and continued to book her in I then just said to my daughter it's ok just put monkey away and then carried on being booked in... The optician was fine but then we where left with no help to choose glasses and then once we had chosen some we stood for a few minutes while 4 members of staff where having a chin wagg and a cuppa.... Like a I say this is the 1st time I've experienced that here and I'm not impressed it's hard enough to take my daughter out and make her feel welcome...
