Excellent family day out, plenty to do and lots of nature to explore. The paths are all very accessible with lots of signposting. It gets busy on holidays and weekends but theres always somewhere to sit down and have a nice picnic.

[April 2023] Reasonably chav free woods. Nice for walking, picnics, cycling. Parking charges a bit steep (20% of the cost of the Go Ape session) but helps that you can now pay by card. Didnt spot Alice anywhere. Keep your children out of the visitor centre - the prices are extortionate.
