Our orangery was competed in 2007 and has proven to be really well constructed, very solid, perfectly insulated and no problems in 11 years

Just finished our Orangery which looks fantastic. A truly professional, top quality job from end to end. Everyone in the team were helpful, courteous and just excellent at what they did. We even visited the workshop during the build, where we were welcomed and shown what hand crafted precision and great attention to detail is all about. Thanks Jeremy and team for a great experience, we are delighted with the end result.

We had a Uglow conservatory built in 98/99 and it has been excellent value and quality. Seventeen years on we are starting to have minor problems with a little rot here and there and now the hinge of an opening roof panel has become defective. Unfortunately Uglow show little interest in helping to deal with these problems. You are referred to one or two individuals who offer a kind of service. The last time we used them it cost us 1,000 to have a strip of hardwood and some denticulated border replaced. In the process a window panel was broken and had to be replaced. No receipt was made available although requested. Surely a firm of Uglow's reputation should be able to offer a better service to their customers than this makeshift arrangement.

I would not recommend using the Glass House, Jeremy Uglo was totally unreliable, making appointments then not turning up. He did not even take the time to cancel the appointments - just did not show up and we had to contact him to find out where he was. He did not seem at all concerned that he had mucked us around at all. Would not use this company as they appear to be completely unreliable.

Great design but a few errors and poor after sales. We have had 2 of the double glazed units implode. In both cases showering the interior of the orangerie in glass shards. The 2nd time it rained upon my family and dog whilst eating. The first time, the offending unit was replaced by Uglow but the 2nd one, he did not answer emails or telephone calls and it appears the implosions are a known factor, as an officer of the company wrote to me in an email. I wonder what the Sale of Goods Act says about that. So we wait and wonder if Uglow will replace the 2nd unit some months after the event. A leak that penetrated the ceiling and discolored it apparently was not their fault, it was missing mastic. Another builder looked to repair it and could find nothing to repair and said is probably a crack in the leadwork but we cannot see it and Uglow does not want to see it.
