I was unhappy and stressed in my job, feeling undervalued and underappreciated. There was no career progression or like-minded team to work with. And I also felt underpaid. I wasn't having any success with job hunting which made me feel like I wasnt good enough to get a new job. I felt overwhelmed and was finding it hard to make time to hunt for a job alongside a full time (and stressful) job. As I had worked with a few careers advisors in the past and hadnt found them very useful, I was a bit concerned about working with a coach. However, I went from being overwhelmed by my situation to enjoying working with someone supportive and impartial who gave me so much advice and inside information. Identifying the areas of a role that motivate me personally was really valuable and you also improved my CV. All this support ultimately helped me secure a new job.

I had a difficult decision to make about two job opportunities I had. I had spoken to a trusted person about them which actually left me feeling more confused. Speaking to Suzanne helped me reflect on my own present circumstances and how each opportunity might affect my career in the future. I got an alternative perspective that helped me very quickly re-examine the facts and make a decision. The confusion about what to do has now gone and I feel I have removed pressure from my future.
