The admin assistant was fine. The engineer was reluctant to deal with additional questions about the services provided. After a few questions by email he told me to f** off in a slightly more polite manner instead of answering the question. I understand that people are busy, though you should be accustomed to deal with different types of customers with different queries. A training on handling customers may be needed as refresher.

In the process of buying a house I found that a chimney breast had been removed and the sellers had no supporting information regarding the work. Holdgate Consulting were able to provide a structural engineer to confirm that the required joist was in place. Their attendance was prompt, the disruption minimal and the work was thorough. They were friendly and very professional. I was really impressed.

We used Holdgates for our kitchen remodel. This involved removing load-bearing wall and supporting rear elevation with structural steel. From the initial visit by Ryan we had our drawings and calculations back in about a weeks time which we were very happy with. He and his team have been very helpful and I get the impression, although only a small project, have been give the same attention and consideration larger jobs may may require. From my experience so far, I would definitely recommend Holdgates as a company to use on your future projects.
