Care homes/Residential homes need to really pay attention to the staff they hire!! they do not give any 'CARE' to their petients, they just leave them be, until something is wrong, imagine that being your parents in there and you leave them to just dissapear into nothing for their last moments of life! appauling! glad you are closing to be honest, I hope my mother in law goes somewhere that cares. Nothing agaisnt the care owner he has tried.... but he needs to know the staff need to care! not just to do a job wandering around ignoring them.

My mother was moved to duchess gardens in the summer, she was suffering with Alzheimers. Unfortunately my mother passed away in lynfield mount a dementia unit in Bradford, here she received the best care ever. When i went to collect my Mums belongings from duchess gardens, actually it was really all that my mum owned they had been thrown in a box everything was all together. All her orniments where broken. Half of her clothes were missing and the other half were not hers. No one rang from the home to offer there condolences, I was very upset, they showed no respect at all towards my mum I would not recommend to any one Duchess Gardens
