Eldwick Fencing & Gardening Services

On Monday 3rd October this company used a chainsaw and crow bar to tear down our fences at Southlands Grove. This was at our neighbours request and despite knowing there was a legal dispute with our neighbour regarding the boundary. They were informed of this but continued to remove our fences. This is a fence that we had purchased within our boundary in 2005 and have shown evidence of the purchase and installation. It is still subject to an ongoing legal dispute with solitors involved. Several members of our family have used this company in the past and are all disgusted that a supposedly reputable company would behave in this manner. They will never use them again. Put yourselves in our shoes if they did they same to you or a member of your family! Both my husband and myself are 76 years old and they put us through unimaginable stress and upset. At my Solicitors advice, I haven taken video footage of this very traumatic event that we had no prior knowledge until this company turned up at 8.30 am with their chain saw and crow bar. In the words of this company when asked to stop, knowing the facts, "We have to earn a living". What kind of people behave in such a disgraceful way!

Eldwick Fencing have done an absolutely fantastic job in a few areas of our garden this year - bespoke fencing that slopes with our garden, Indian paving stone installation and bespoke railing/gate. We have an unique garden with a steep slope and different tiers so a bit of a mammoth task! The guys at Eldwick Fencing worked really hard, produced everything to a very high standard and were always checking in to make sure we were happy with the work. They left our garden super tidy. Eldwick Fencing came on time to give a quote, stuck to the quote costs, were clear what they could and could not do and offered a starting date. They arrived on time, on the date the stated - that alone is worth considerable praise , given the behaviour of some companies! The work was undertaken without fuss, with minimum mess and completed in the time scale and with the costs as quoted. Materials used were of high quality and the garden was left clean and tidy afterwards. Liam and his team were polite, respectful and very hardworking. They focused on my job and did not leave the site to do other bits of work at the same time - another annoying behaviour in modern-day workmen! Several neighbours commented on their excellent work ethic and the quality of the end result, as they were working at the front of the house. I cannot recommend them highly enough and will certainly use them again for any garden work I need. Service: Custom fabrication
