Steve Griffiths Driving Instructor

If you look past his desire to just walk into peoples houses uninvited, suggest wearing inappropriate clothing for the test and his general inappropriate behaviour while driving, hes a terrible teacher. He does not teach the basics of driving, or how to pass the test. He instead focussed on driving in the real world meaning I was massively underprepared for my tests. I didnt even know what the various buttons did in the car. He then proceeded to book me in for a test in an area id never driven, not telling me until the day of the test because he thought my mental state would not cope. Cue meltdown as my test began. I failed. Having charged me 150 for test and lesson he then did a runner. Disgrace of a man.

Very strict, but does the job. Has a dry sense of humour. Very serious about what he does.

I doubt very much whether Steve pays too much attention to these reviews but I felt compelled to draught a few lines to celebrate our latest test success this week in the family and pat Steve on the back into the bargain! This fella has adopted his unique style of driving tuition with all three of our kids over a period of thirteen years. Our daughter and two sons have all learnt to drive and have passed their tests with Steve. I love the way hes like my old swimming teacher at Belle Vue Boys nicknamed Killer Whale - theres no point wasting time making sure your trunks are tied up with a fancy knot.. just jump in at the deep end and lets crack on!! I mean first lesson- Toller Lane roundabout...FANTASTIC, talk about sink or swim haha love him! I genuinely hope you delay that decision to retire soon Steve because you epitomise everything thats needed to bolster confidence in a young driver in Bradford and leave all the superfluous pink and fluffy stuff for others to pick up. Lets get driving....
