I visit my grandparents grave every 2 to 3 months. It is on the site across the road of the Warfield church. My father when his parents died planned remembrance roses and forgot me nots flowers and daffodils. Around May this year my husband and I purchased and put in place 60litres of topsoil and before my dad passed away from Cancer he planted his final bulbs. It costs us over 40 together with a lot of sweat from my husband and I. We have always looked after this grave.. Horror and disbelief, I cried buckets,, Our beautiful Remembrance of my grandpatents distroyed, the ground flattened, plants ripped of the ground, the top soil displaced to the grave next to my grandparents, no boundary stones they have been stolen as far as I am concerned. And a wreath placed there in May removed. Their grave has been merged with a grave which was unkepted over the years. It now looks like a porpers grave or a grave for the victims of the black death. A sad forgotten grave. Its NOT forgotten its not the same, I cry every time I think of my dad planting those last flowers before he died and them being ripped out and thrown away. The people who just were surposed to cut the grass which had not been done since last year, have destroyed our memories and desagrated our grandparents grave. They could clealy see that a loved one was looking after their love ones. Nothing will ever heal this pain. We would ask that the church place the stone border back, and separate it from the grave next to it. Nothing will replace the roses and flowers planted years back or the bulbs and flowers planted by my dad who has now passed away. But it would enable us to replace them to give my grandparents their identity back and not look like another forgotten grave. No other grave so far have been treated like this. I am sending a formal complaint also.
