Joe & Steve created a really strong & beautiful rear extension to be used as a big family room as well as a gorgeous enclosed front porch. They were great to have around, worked really hard every day, brought professionalism, knowledge, experience & creativity to the project and overcame one or two big obstacles to get the job done! We couldnt be happier with the finished product and would highly recommend Creative Oak Buildings!

I cant recommend Creative Oak Buildings highly enough, Joe REALLY knows his onions! From a fag packet sketch to a comprehensive drawing, I felt absolutely secure until my garage was finished! If youre hesitating, dont! Just get in touch!

Unimpressive behaviour from driver of van BV60 YYF on Wed am (0744 Oxford ring road). Observed dangerous driving and verbal abusive. Wouldn't let these guys anywhere near a building project of mine.

We moved into a converted barn in 2015 which had no garage, room for storage, or extra space for an emerging tribe of grand children. Joe took on the design of a garage/storage/flat structure attached to the original house (at the roof level) with a very positive approach entailing being flexible with my wishes to control all the inside work. Joe provided all services to settle on the design, gaining of planning permission, and organisation of key subcontractors to prepare the site to lay in new water/waste management. Everything proceeded as he had represented from the outset, always to a level of quality which impressed me and other interested parties. In particular the oak structure is truly beautiful, and strong. His process of cutting all the key timbers before coming onto the prepared site proved to work extremely well - the base structure was up in one day!!I In 2-3 weeks the 'carcass' was completed and I then organised all the internal work - electrics, water, insulation, flooring, heating, decoration of the flat, etc. The end result is certainly 5-star, in particular the workmanship of the basic oak structure including the roof whose tiles blend perfectly with the original house. Since completion end of 2017 I have had Joe and his very professional team over a couple of times dealing with nigglies, which they have done cheerfully without pause. I know I can count on him and his team for the future and will recommend him to anyone, with whom I would be prepared to share photos etc.

Joe and his team have designed, built and finished a wonderful replacement to part of our property that needed demolishing. Whilst not huge (circa 620m3) it had to be designed to match the similar footprint of the existing building, which Joe managed perfectly. The build quality of the oak frame and the building are fantastic, with a finish to match. There are always going to be hiccups and problems on any building project, but nothing was too much trouble for the team and any issues were overcome without stress or fuss. I noted the comments from a previous reviewer about building regulations, whilst I can't comment on their situation, our building was approved and passed with no issues, perhaps it helped that we used a private firm rather than the council (who were willing to engage and visit site quickly and at short notice). I cannot recommend Creative oak highly enough, they were always friendly, helpful, respectful and have given us a wonderful home.
