Ideal overnight stop on our way to Scotland. Receptionist, Mo, couldn't have been nicer. Welcomed us as friends. She is a credit to the company. We booked a family room which was two single beds and kingsize bed. We had ample room to move in the room without falling over each other. Our only disappointment was the evening meal we had next door at the pub. It was a first-night new menu. The children's menu does need a re-think as children expect to eat the same as "mum" would cook. Adults menu was a tad to restauranty and expensive. Overheard other customers say the same.

Rooms: In all honesty, I'm very lucky to say I'm very, very lucky. I've stayed in many more luxurious rooms, but at a far greater price... Obviously. But for a night or two away, if visiting the Preston area, the rooms are very comfortable, the location and on site facilities, pub and food is fantastic, the staff are amazingly professional... I for one would totally recommend this place. Nearby activities: Preston, good shopping area, quite rare these days north of Watford (Manchester is also good).... But as a place for a night or two with family, cannot go wrong considering this hotel. Safety: Reception was manned throughout my stay, either with reception staff or security. I personally felt totally safe staying here. Food & drinks: Associated pub about 30 seconds away with a fantastic choice of beers and food. Once again, first class service from them.
