Appalling! Right from not recognising my policy number when making the original claim to 4 months later and counting where NO remedial action has taken place. 1 star is too generous.

THEY NEED TO BE CLOSED DOWN (shame wouldn't allow us to give ) stars)- we had the whole of our property portfolio insured with an insurance company, never made a claim in over 20 years then after making 1 claim got passed onto Geo, absolute scammers acting the capacity as 'loss adjustors' , the claims handler made it very clear their job is not to pay out on claims by finding any minor level of incorrect information, he said this was their instruction from the Insurers and they are paid based on how much money they save the Insurance company. We sued the Insurance company & won at court & were awarded 68k for our loss and 42k legal costs! Judge commented on how Geo underwriting had lied, fabricated evidence & were racist in their approach! Kings of their own castle but when at court they seemed petrified! ABSOLUTE SCAM MASTERS!

Should be 0 stars. We have had landlords insurance with these for nearly 10 years ago, in March 2021 a tenant caused over 14,000.00 worth of damage to our property (very bad managing agent as well), and we still havent been paid out as of November 2022, we received a settlement offer from them in Feb 2022, when we accepted the offer we got an pout of office saying the assessor had left the company, 3 months later they are again asking for documents that had been submitted to the previous assessor, then since June 2022 silence. A was lodge and a response received in September that the claim had been upheld and offer 500 in compensation, we havent received the compensation or the pay out of the claim. Every time we contact them we get an out of office replied. Currently we have repaired, paid out, sold, completed and exchange on the property before these jokers can pay out our claim.

I bought a policy from GEO for my London property which is rented out. In the third year of paying for the policy we suffered a minor water leak and some collateral damage. The claims handling is outsourced to an outfit called Towergate Claims. The leak happened in August 2021 but at time of writing in January 2022 it is still not sorted out. If you have watched the film The Incredibles recall the scene when Mr Incredible works in an insurance company. His boss is just like Towergate, finding anyway to slow things down and not accept the claim, disallow as much of the costs as possible and not give any services. Of course Mr Incredible gets fired when he rebels against the unethical, unprofessional, immoral and possibly illegal operation by crashing through the office. I wish I could send Mr Incredible to all the myriad of companies involved in my simple claim. In all seriousness just look elsewhere. I will not be renewing
