Phone was stolen while abroad and it took months to finally get them to pay. Refused to insure my new phone as they said they would only insure the replacement phone they were going to send me (2 months late), only to then at the end tell me they had no replacement phones in stock. Now I have cancelled my monthly direct debit and they decided that I still owe them 7 months of payments when I was only ever paying monthly never a year contract. Would rather not be insured than have to deal with them again

Despite the negative reviews I read prior to sending my phone for repair making me feel somewhat apprehensive. I have to give them 5 stars. They recieved my phone on a Tuesday and returned on the Friday fully repaired. They appeared to go above and beyond what I expected to be honest. Cannot fault the service I received

i have had phone insurance with a19 multi gadget for years and have claimed once about 6 years ago. Unfortunately my wife dropped her phone in the kitchen and damaged the screen. My wife phoned Multi gadget to make a claim and found out the insurance company have made it as hard and frustrating to make a claim. We managed to get a copy from our previous network provider for ownership proof of the phone and copy of insurance certificate. Now they want 6 months of phone usage. This is is very difficult now as the previous network provider doesn't want to know as we are no longer with them. They have the necessary evidence/documents for what the insurance require but are making it difficult to make a claim. My wife has spent enough time with this incompetent insurance company as others have stated they take your monthly payments quickly but are reluctant to make a claim straight forward. The first claim was so easy but now they think everyone is trying it on. Take each claim differently and don't assume we are all crooks. We have decided to cancel are policy and not bother with insurance on phones.

I have insured three mobile phones with this company for over two years. One phone was damaged so I tried to make a claim to get it repaired and after weeks of trying (and hours spent on calls, emails) I have now given up. Despite supplying a copy of the contract, mobile account statement and proof of purchase (about 6 x!), they still tell me that i haven't proved that I own the phone - so they must think I am trying to commit a fraud for a phone repair!!! The phone supplier (Virgin Mobile who are equally hopeless) are unable to provide a proof of purchase with my name and address written on it for some unfathomable reason (and I've asked them several times) which is what Multi Gadget are hiding behind despite having clear evidence that I have bought and own the phone. A classic case of 'computer says no' with nobody at the company able to make a sensible decision. They are very quick to take the insurance premiums though. Shocking customer service. Do not use.
