We chose Wilson Paving after being seriously let down by a previous landscaper. Paul, Darren and the team were nothing but supportive throughout the process of rectifying the mistakes made by a previous company. Nothing was too much and they kept us constantly up to date with how the work was coming along. The work we've had done is fantastic and has finally allowed us to enjoy the garden we've always wanted. We'd recommend using Wilson's and indeed already have with our relatives. We found Wilson's website via Google when we were looking for a local contractor to install a new non slip pathway to our ground floor apartment. We were impressed with the website and also the 4.7 rating from the Google reviews. We were impressed by the immediate response and the detailed quotation with a visual image. The work was carried out within days by a highly professional team and we were very happy with the result. Because of our positive experience we then commissioned them to lay new turf in the small garden on both sides of the path. Again the work was carried out quickly and professionally. After several years of being unable, through disability, to care for the garden, it was looking neglected and really untidy. I chose Wilson Landscaping because they were a local firm with an excellent reputation and were willing to do the work necessary to completely redesign my garden. Paul came to my house and I think he was a bit shocked when he realised I had no side access to the garden and the job would involve transporting everything in and out via the garage roof, garage and kitchen. We talked about what we wanted and Paul said he would let me know if it was possible. I was pleased when he let me know they were willing to go ahead and gave me a very agreeable price. The logistics of getting equipment and supplies were overcome by Paul, Andy and a very capable team. With the use of ladders, planks and a conveyor belt they cleared decking, paving, a garden shed, old and broken plant pots and contents, unwanted shrubs and plants and a lawn. All done with good humour and a great deal of brute force. I had wanted a new lawn but it was pointed out to me that I would have difficulty mowing and watering and it was changed to artificial grass. The whole garden had to be levelled first. A patio was laid from the back door to the bottom fence with an area around for planting so that I had space for entertaining family and friends. Raised beds were at the bottom and the area around the mature trees was covered with weed suppressing film then covered with small pebbles. An extended step was made from the back door for safety reasons and the outside drain cover was laid into the patio. All the supplies for the garden were brought up and over the garage roof on the conveyor or carried by the more than willing team through the garage , part of the kitchen and out of the back door. Any mess was cleaned up before they left at night. The Wilson team ticked all the boxes and now that I have started seeing my new plants beginning to flower I can relax in a garden I can be proud to show my family and friends. I know that I will be able to look after this garden on my own thanks to an exceptional company who shared my vision and simplified my life.
