Riverside Resin

We had our drive Resin Bonded Gravel which was laid on top of Block Paving as they said it was OK to do so. I have since found out that this is a big no no. You can see the blocks through the gravel. The colour was OK for a while then faded even though it was guaranteed not to. There are several cracks in the drive. There is moss growing all over the drive. A complete waste of over 4000 cash. We have tried contacting the company and actually had a visit from one of their representatives who agreed to come and carry out remedial work. They arranged a date twice and didn't turn up. They now don't answer their phone. Please save your money and use a different professional company. I have no affiliation to any other company. We are just normal members of the public and retired OAPs. Very disappointed in their after sales customer services and unproffessionalism. Please Note. The owner left a message to ring him on a mobile number. I have rang the number but guess what no one answers and it goes to answerphone. I left a message asking him to ring me, leaving my mobile number. No one has bothered to ring me.

Had a resin driveway completed by this company, the driveway has cracks and areas that have come away and are down to the concrete. I have been attempting to contact for so long that the original problems with the driveway are now much worse. They have ignored emails and messages sent on Facebook that have been seen. Very poor after care. Would not expect to pay 4000 for a driveway and have these problems after it had only been down for 2 years.

Whilst the name of the company I used was not simply Resin, the contact telephone number is the same and was called Riverside Resin Limited, of Anlaby Close. In 2020 a resin bound driveway was installed over my block paving. The communication between the sales team and the contractors was poor as they got part of the colour scheme wrong. I was told that I wouldn't have to pay the balance until I was satisfied with the work, well guess what, I wasn't and so refused to pay the balance until the correction was done. I felt vulnerable in exercising this, even though the sales team had said that's how it would be. It was completed the next day. Unfortunately, they have bound the drainage grate in front of my garage door in situ and I can no longer remove it to clean it out. I have been chasing and chasing all to no avail. If you do get a response you are given promises that do not materialise. Most of the time, it went to voicemail so I used email for an audit trail. Now they have disabled their website, Twitter, Facebook & Messenger accounts. Whilst that is inconvenient for people like me, I do hope it prevents others from getting caught out by this firm. I have been left with a problem of their creating that I cannot get them to resolve. In the meantime, I've also noticed that the edge of my drive is beginning to crumble in at least one place. I am now in the process of taking them to court. Service: Driveway replacement
