Went in to get my husband a wrist support as he had sprained it. Brought a medium however was to small. Took it back straight away but would not change. Said couldnt be returned as it had been used and package opened (which was already opened when purchased) Not great service from the pharmacist maybe next time when selling 16.99 support it should be made clear these can not be returned.

I was advised by the pharmacist in Noak bridge that I needed Chloramphenical eye ointment for my infected stye and as they were out of stock, suggested I ring round to find some. I called Shadforths in Billericay high street ,spoke to a very pleasant pharmacist , explained what I was advised and she told me they had some in stock and she would put it aside for me. My daughter drove me to Billericay and I found the pharmacy . I spoke to an older woman ,( a general sales assistant) who Went on to say I can't use this on an infected stye. I explained that the pharmacist I had spoken to half an hour before recommended it and that I trust what he said. This sales woman got quite defensive and would not sell it to me. A queue was building behind me, I felt so embarrassed and didn't want to get into an argument. Since when have general sales assistants had more knowledge than a pharmacist?? Meanwhile if this person wishes to Google if Chloramphenical eye ointment can be used on infected styles... She will see that you CAN!!. I was not only in pain and suffering but was humiliated. I will never set foot in there In response to your reply. Firstly , the male pharmacist did not examine my eye, he stood next to the sales assistant whilst she continued repeating how the product I had been recommended by the Noak bridge pharmacist was not for an infected stye and just kept refusing to sell it to me, despite me phoning ahead, explaining to the helpful young woman in the pharmacy ,exactly what had been recomended and what it was for. The helpful lady in the pharmacy then reserved it for me . On arrival ,I even spoke to this same helpful lady, who comented how painful my eye looked and she confirmed that she had placed it unfer the counter with my name on. That's when the sales assist jumped in! Secondly, after leaving your chemist , deflated and in agony just wanting something to soothe my eye , I attended my appointment at the opticians( Vision express ) , initially doubting if they could give me something to help . To my delight , the incredibly professional optician there took photos of my eye , shared them with my permission on a WhatsApp group chat made up of other opticians and eye doctors . Guess what the advice was.... to use Chloramphenical in and around my eye for 5 days !!
