Ian is an incredibly talented luthier, and his way of gentle restoration definitely confirms with my views of keeping things original! He has done a beautiful job of sympathetically maintaining a vintage banjo I bought for my partner, even hand making a new hold down piece for the resonator. I'm so glad I took my instrument to him and I've recommended him to all the musical friends I have. Thanks again Ian!

I picked up my 62 Tele reissue from Ian today with quiet excitement and was not disappointed, In fact the opposite. The set up is excellent, it feels better than the day I bought it. Ian will be seeing more of my guitars and if anyone asks Ill point them in his direction with absolute confidence.

Ian did excellent work repairing four guitars damaged by humidity/damp storage conditions. Talked through range of options for repairing each guitar; the work was high quality and reasonably priced. Really happy with the results and I'd recommend Ian's services.

I took my guitar to Ian to get cleaned up and repaired after neglecting it for a few years. He did a fantastic job and was great chatting with him on the other guitars that hes worked on. Has a real passion for the work and I wouldnt hesitate to go back in the future. Would highly recommend.

Excellent customer service and talk through of the process, Ian is very knowledgeable and clearly explained how to improve the sound of my guitar and what strings to use for my style of playing, and fixed a crack in the back with matching paint to finish. Would definitely recommend his workmanship.
