Tomey Physiotherapy, Sports & Acupuncture Clinic

My husband has intermittent back pain and has over the years used Tomey Physio on several occasions and the treatment has always been excellent. I have used Tomey physio on two occasions in the last six years once for sciatica and once for a severely sprained ankle and on both occasions the treatment,care and support was again excellent. During the first few weeks of lockdown I sprained my shoulder whilst clearing out the loft and after a couple of weeks as it wasnt improving very much I called Karen to see if they had any idea of when they might re-open. Karen explained I could have a consultation via zoom which I immediately booked. My husband was present to help me move my arm so Karen could assess the situation . The consultation was as detailed as any I have physically attended and I was sent exercises to do via a free app ( which included videos) plus I was advised to buy a very inexpensive pulley on Amazon to help with these exercises. It has been two weeks and I am making good progress and more importantly not doing any further damage to my arm by trying to self diagnose ( which we all do at times) In short I would not hesitate to recommend Tomey Physio and while the pandemic is still affecting how we do things I would also say that the video consultation and after care has been excellent.

I have had several video physio sessions with Karen. It has worked really well over video and she has been able to effectively treat my hip pain, despite not meeting in person. I would really recommend and not let the video/zoom format put you off!
