Very poor real estate agency with staff who talk the talk but don't walk the walk. Wouldn't recommend Quirks to any landlords wanting property management services! Before signing up for their management services we explicitly discussed with Andrew the issues we had with previous agencies being careless with our properties. We were assured that Quirks were different and we should trust them in the services they provide. Andrew seemed professional and responsible. We used Quirks for three years to manage our rental property in Wickford for convenience as we live outside of the UK. Throughout those three years we had to repeatedly follow up simple outstanding issues and questioning why contractors had not been arranged. In the last 12 months of the contract, our tenants would reach out to us because things were not being done by Quirks. The management services became a waste of money! Our contract finished at the end of January 2023. After the contract finished, it came to my attention (from my tenant and NOT Quirks) that there was an outstanding task to be completed at the property. This was something I had requested two months prior. I phoned Quirks to understand the situation only to be asked by Sarah if I was calling for an argument who became very defensive and unhelpful. After requesting a managing partner to contact me to discuss the mismanagement of the property, no phone call took place despite confirmation this would happen from Andrew; and since, no follow up courtesy email from Andrew regarding the still outstanding communication. All in all, it appears the team and management have 100% interest in taking their management fees from you, yet have zero interest in following through with their responsibilities in managing your investment. Don't waste your money!

I have been with Quirks Letting Agents for 16 years, and through that time have had faultless service. I've never had a bad tenant or a period without tenants. They have always been good value, especially when getting work done on my behalf. Their staff turnover is low, and as a result the people you deal with get to know you, and the tenants, allowing them to provide a more personal service. Excellent company, I definitely recommend them.
