The New Surgery

My husband and I had the most awful experience with one of the GP. Instead showing some empathy for what we're going through, she just gave her opinion as a mother not as a doctor. Even though we told her that my husband and I are suffering from depression, my baby has a chronic disease which requires treatment every 2 weeks to stay alive. When we asked her for help with his sleep, she just told us to leave him crying and he'll learn... luckily we managed to get an appointment with his pediatrician and she was absolutely brilliant and referred us to the right specialists.

I would recommend this surgery. The staff and Doctors are helpful and caring.

I'm appalled by the level of service this GP gives to it's taxpaying patients. Their vmail states 8am opening, my wife who was requiring an urgent appointment called 40 times before at 8.36am someone finally answered the phone. Do you open at 8am or is it actually 8.36am? Being a public service for people in need, maybe you need to change your vmail or get someone in on time... how hard can either be...?! Disgusting also to watch your receptionist just looking at the phone as it rings.

The reception staff is courteous and available most of the time (although I waited at the door for a bit of time last time). Facilities are a bit old but well cleaned and looked after. I am being followed by a midwife there and shes very professional and knowledgeable as well, I would definitely recommend, I think its one of the best local practices.
