I photographed a wedding at this venue last summer and its now one of my favorite places to work. The grounds are amazing and they have lovely lawns and a lot of space for large weddings. The staff are also great.

I don't even know where to begin with depicting how incredible of a place Bignor Park is. From the first moment when we originally viewed it, on a cold, wet and very grey day - we knew it was something special. The fact it could still look utterly beautiful in those conditions, meant that come our actual wedding day in the gorgeous sunshine, it looked like a dream. So many of our guests (in fact nearly all!) commented on what a wonderful venue it was. It offers the very best of the English countryside, with stunning views, and amazing backdrops. The venue has unusual and creative spaces throughout - so we were able to achieve our dream of 'al fresco' dining in the UK, whilst still having a covering which made it weather-proof. And of course, the most important aspect of the venue - the amazing Louise who was just such a massive part of our day. Louise's organisation is second to none - she helps make sure that your plans are on track, and we didn't find planning stressful once due to Louise's helpful nudges. It's safe to assume that Louise has thought of everything, and experienced all eventualities. Herself and her lovely daughter Ottilie were there on the day to make sure everything ran smoothly. It was a totally seamless day and genuinely nothing went wrong thanks to the both of them. Bignor Park is one of the most special places to me, we will definitely be back - and can only hope that we'll be lucky enough to attend a wedding there in the future to experience the magic again.

We wish there was a 10 star option! We cant put into words how incredible and dreamy Bignor Park is as a venue and Louise is as the events manager. From the first email with Louise and contact with the Mersey family, we knew we had stumbled on something very special. We got married on 9th July 2022 and ever since, many of our guests have told us it was the best wedding they have ever been to. We think the venue is the biggest attributing factor to this. It is truly stunning. We chose to use the Greek Loggia for our wedding ceremony followed by drinks on the South Lawn, the wedding breakfast in the quadrangle, cake and cocktails back in the Loggia and dancing in the stables. The venue has many areas to offer and they are all stunning. In order to maximise the use, we arranged to have a shoot with our photographer the week of the wedding and it was amazing to be able to use the Zen Pond and the Temple for these. When booking Bignor Park, we had no idea that the venue would come with such an incredible event manager. Louise was essentially our wedding planner. If you book Bignor Park for your wedding (lucky you!), you absolutely dont need a separate planner. Louise would be better anyway! She has so much experience and as she thoughtfully gets to know you, she makes perfect suggestions for your day. We live abroad and were only able to make a few visits to the venue before we were home for the wedding two years later. You would think that planning a wedding from the other side of the world would be stressful, but Louise (and trusty parents) made it a breeze. Being a couple with clear ideas about what we wanted, Bignor Park was able to make these ideas a reality. We loved the fact that the venue is a beautiful blank canvas and we could then add all the touches we wanted. This did make the organisation a bit more work as we had to make sure everything, down to hiring crockery and glasses, was sorted. However, all the hard work paid off and it looked exactly as we had envisaged. That being said, if you are a couple that lack initial ideas, again Louise is your woman. On the day, everything went exactly to plan - we couldnt have been happier. Another plus was that we could set up from the Thursday before the wedding and make sure the place was spotless by Monday. That meant we were able to spend Sunday with our friends and family and then worry about getting it sorted on Monday. This was perfect for us. We wouldnt hesitate in recommending the venue to anyone.

We got married at Bignor Park in May 2022 and it was just the most fabulous day we could have hoped for. We were married in the Greek Loggia, had a drinks reception on the South Lawn, sat down to eat in the Quadrangle under the stretch canopy and partied in the stables and out in the courtyard. The variety across the venue really helped with the flow of the day. The gardens were in such amazing condition with flowers all over - a testament to the hard work of the grounds staff. Our guests continue to tell us how amazing they thought the venue was, and we agree! Louise is a superstar in weddings and was on hand throughout our preparations to make sure we had covered everything. We always felt very well looked after. What else to say other than we had our dream day, thanks in huge part to Bignor Park and its people working their magic!
