Don't work for them. They'll do drug and alcohol tests, which is fine, but if after one day you don't like the job, you can they'll try not paying you. Wouldn't work for them even if paid double. In fact only reason they wanted me there was to cover someone while he was on holidays

At the end of June 2022 I paid a very large 50% deposit to one of their approved installers (Orchard Windows, Tavistock, Devon) for 9 windows and a door. Since then Orchard has not been in touch and doesn't answer calls or emails. It looks likely that they are becoming insolvent. Evolution won't tell me if Orchard placed an order with them or, if they had, whether they have been manufactured. Requests to speak to a manager are ignored. What is most annoying is that Evolution undoubtedly knew that there was a problem with Orchard before I told them and yet they still promote Orchard in glowing terms on their website - risking other people losing their deposits. This is morally indefensible.
