Any Alterations

I was very dissapointed. I wanted to get a Bridesmaid dress altered. During my first appointment, I was asked to wear the dress and stand as a lady fitted me. Two weeks passed without hearing from the shop and so I phoned to ask what the update was regarding my dress and they told me I would have to come in again for another fitting and that they would charge more if I were to get the waist taken in. I finally got told to come in nearly 3 weeks after my first appointment and, due to it being out of my budget, I said I would just have the length taken up. I wore the dress again and had to pivot as a different lady measured me again (making the first appointment pointless) and she proceeded to cut around the base of the dress -which was quite rushed and a little uneven! When I went to pay it was only cash or a bank transfer. I had to take more cash out as the lady told me it would cost 10 more than I was originally quoted which was plucked out of thin air and I had no option as the dress had already been cut! I was so upset by this service and won't be using it again. I had a few friends who needed alterations and I would tell them to go elsewhere! I wish I had just done it myself as I think I would have done just as good a job and saved myself money, stress & upset. What a shame.

Took jeans for alternation. Have been told 2 weeks wait, which was fine at the time. Turn up to collect on the agreed date only to be told they weren't ready. Been given another date and the same scenario happened on the day. No contact from Any Alternation despite having my phone number. Bad experience. Never again. I'll take my custom somewhere else
