Lots of free space to roam and take in the beautiful scenery. Also you can walk alongside the River Ivel and look out for kingfishers darting down the River. For bird lovers it is veritable paradise. Buzzards, red kites, kestrels, sparrowhawks in the sky. In the reed beds beside the river there are the summer migrants: sedge warblers, reed warblers, reed bunting. In the grass there are Canada geese, greylag geese. In this time of social distancing there is room for everyone to enjoy their own space with various paths across the Common.
