The Blacksmiths Arms

Haven't been to the Blacksmith Arms, since pre COVID. What a pleasant surprise, excellent service and food. Missed the Ribs, sold out, get them next time, but everyone in our party, (10), enjoyed both their mains and deserts. The Beef Blade was really good, fish and chips, fish pie and Steak pie , all got a good comments. The Sticky Toffee pudding and Apple Crumble, were described as best ever. Can recommend,

Great pint of beer and friendly service. Roast pork gravy and crackling were delicious and vegetables were fresh and em tasty but roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding were a bit stale and chewy. Puddings were all very very nice. Sticky toffee pudding and the apple and blackberry crumble were very well done

Best Sunday roast out that we've have had in a long while. The meat was tender, veg plentiful, gravy delicious. Can't fault any of it. The staff were friendly and service excellent. Will definitely be returning very soon.

Fabulous food. Always well presented. A little expensive for a family with children as there isn't the typical children's choice. Lovely atmosphere but never sure when the place us going to close for the day.

First visit in years and we will definitely be going back. Absolutely gorgeous food, staff super friendly and a fab atmosphere
