Ok, this is for those who consider getting a PPL there. My instructor John was brilliant. Others looked ok too. The staff at the counter is a bit below satisfactory standards but its not a big deal. The issue is not with the school but with the Biggin Hill aerodrome where the school is based at. The aerodrome is designed for business jets, and they hate small planes there. The landing fee was 45 in 2022, the highest Ive ever seen so far. Plus, all training flights are prohibited there. Therefore, for every circuit training, solo etc (the vast majority of all flights) you must go to Southend or Leeds. This adds up minimum an hour to each flight. Because of that, no one can complete the course within legal 55 hours. So, once I ran out of a prepaid package of 55 hours I had to pay for the flight time to Southend and back and the Biggin landing fee on top of what I would have paid if my school was not in Biggin. In total, you overpay about 300 for each flight. To be honest there are some advantages as you got more experience, especially with big busy aerodromes, airspace, ATC and all that. But going back Id prefer to get the PPL elsewhere and have a few training flights to big airports. I personally had to pay 7300 on top of a standard package to complete my course in the end. No issues renting there apart from the landing fee and all experience flights are highly recommended!

I just want or love to say thus us not just an ordinary flying school this is my where my life and journey as a pilot is. The staff Anoop and Carmen have been angels on my shoulder. I am very ever more than thankfull that I've been included as part of their family since 2016. Carmen and Anoop Christian hasn't only just been my flying director and flying instructor. They have been part of my life and they really know my circumstances. But they never give up on me. I'll keep with them all my life and always keep contact. I'm so blessed with these pilots and instructor assistant and mentor . Thank you all for being there for me. So anyone wants to do flying. Please visit EFG biggin hill as this is an amazing environment.
