Amazing care agency with super staff (care and office staff) Never needed care before however my family member needed support over night and We were unable to look after her throughout the day and night any longer. The staff they provided were wonderful! We gave them a handover before We went to sleep and they looked after her over night. They reassured us and we have never had such a good night sleep! They were so thoughtful, kind, outstanding in their knowledge and experience of care for someone with dementia. Ark provided all the masks, aprons and gloves for their staff. Their head of care who is a trained nurse put in place a tailor made care plan with everything about my family members health and personal information as well. They give us a handover in the morning when they left. My family members face lights up when she sees the carers We cannot thank Ark enough for all their support and guidance through this time and will be forever grateful to both the care staff, office staff and their head of care.

Cannot fault this agency in any way! Their care is amazing, they looked after my mother in such a brilliant way. Their office staff were very reassuring and provided several carers short term before mum went into a home. All of them were fully trained and very knowledgeable. They read all the notes I left and followed them meticulously. They left me a handover and detailed reports about mums nighttime behaviour to pass onto the district nurses and doctor to enhance mums care. They were very smart and brought their own ppe that their agency had provided. I spoke to the office on several occasions and they were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. I was even able to speak to their trained nurses head of care for advice before mum went into a home which was so helpful. Always would recommend ark nursing agency to anyone

Terrible company. Were tasked to provide waking night support for my mother with severe dementia in order to keep her safe and in her own home. First problem was with a carer who frequently argued with my mother (dementia makes people confused - there is no point in arguing with them, nor is it professional) and, on more than one occasion, fell asleep and a mutual agreement was reached to provide a new carer. On reporting this back to social services they neglected to mention the falling asleep aspect, which is a severe safeguarding issue. Next issue was that they dropped my mothers care package after having reports from a carer that my mother was "too demanding", "argumentative", "abusive" and that my mother had scratched a carer (mother has very long nails) - these are all classic signs of dementia and any staff working for an agency providing dementia care should be adequately trained to deal with these aspects - we have day care provided by another company and their staff report that my mother is easy to deal with in comparison with other clients and this is because they are well trained to provide decent care. On dropping the care package like a stone, I requested a written report as to why this happened. After 2 weeks waiting I just rang the company and was curtly informed that they had no reason to provide a report as their contract was with the authority and not with us and that they would have no more contact with us. Unfortunately, I am therefore moved to leave this review - which is not the way I wanted this to go, but the stress they have caused my family - who are already dealing with the massive stress of an elderly Mother with dementia, is unacceptable.

Brilliant care agency from their office staff, their trained nurse head of care to their incredible staff. Use this agency for day care, they help me with personal care and let me do as much as I can myself and help me with the tasks I find difficult. They are so respectful and caring, Im able to talk with the staff about anything and know the information wont go any further. Their head of care trained nurse came out to assess my needs before the care was put in place and gave me a tailored made care plan as well as offering advice from her experience as to what aids I might benefit from and how I can access these- she even rang the district nurses so she could explain- this has helped me become more independent. The office staff are very professional and polite no matter who answers the phone, they were able to cover a really short notice shift as well as cover in advance. Highly recommended 5 star agency

Im shocked at P R review! Ive found Ark the Best care agency around! Looked after my friend for a few nights through social services. Couldnt fault them in anyway! Their office staff were so informative unlike what P R said and reassuring about the care they were providing, they were able to send the same member of staff to reassure my friend and less worry for her. Compared to P R said I found The carer they sent was incredible, she was so knowledgable in the care ability and experience she had. She was smart, had all her ppe provided by her agency. All she needed from us was a chair to sit on, she reassured me that I could go to sleep and my friend would be well cared for over night. She even washed and dressed my friend and gave her breakfast before she left. She even wrote a brief report about what happened over night so I knew what happened over night. Amazing agency, incredible staff and cannot fault them in any way!!
