The Room Works

We decided it was time for a new kitchen! Our original kitchen was over 40 years old, we had renovated our bungalow and the kitchen was the last room to do. We wanted an affordable kitchen but did not want to compromise on quality and style. We went up to the The Room Works showroom in Bideford and spent some time looking around. We wanted to use a local and reliable company, we did not want a kitchen from a national chain who didn't really know or care about the customer. The showroom was fab! Lots of ideas and a very inspiring environment. No hard sell but we came away enthused, full of possibilities and had made an appointment with Robin to come down and have a look around our current kitchen. Robin came down within the week, we had a chat and talked about what we wanted from a kitchen. We discussed our expectations, Robin listened carefully and measured up. He had lots of suggestions and ideas, keeping us within budget but giving us a kitchen that was bang up to date and functional for our family's needs. Robin drafted up the first set of plans and we then went through a process of visiting the showroom, picking cupboard doors, handles, splashbacks, sink, taps and worktops and tweaking the layout. We then had a final visit to The Room Works just to finalise the details. During this process we spoke to our kitchen fitter, copied him into all the emails that we had from Robin and kept him in the loop. Would we recommend The Room Works for a new kitchen? Absolutely!

Top notch service an excellent quality products. Worth every penny, so much better that going online, to be able to speak to a person and work together to get the end result. Robin really listened to our needs and helped us get the perfect end result, looking forward to getting another 5 kitchens done with him later in the year. Highly recommend.

Great service from Rob at The Room Works, quick delivery of an AEG Oven/Microwave and at a great price. Also supplied a great hob hood by AEG, super quiet. Definitely worth checking The Room Works out before just buying online!
