Owl Valley Glamping

Really amazing experience, Chris our host who built the cabin himself using locally sourced materials was both friendly and welcoming. The cabin was comfy and came with everything you need such as a BBQ, indoor fire heater, shower, fire heated hot tub, gas stove and all cooking equipment. At night it was peaceful and quiet, with only the sound of the nearby stream and owls. It was a perfect couples getaway, which was much needed. Would highly recommend to all.

Our first glamping experience and we will definitely be back. All the amenities we needed, only needed to bring with us the minimum, fully stocked kitchen equipment, clean toilet and shower and so much privacy. Our children were able to enjoy playing by the stream and sitting round the camp fire. The owner was very friendly and left us to it after dropping off our stuff and showing us around the camp.

Spent the weekend here with my partner we stayed in barn owl and what can I say the place was just amazing, from the moment we arrived we were greated by Chris who took our luggage to where we were staying and gave us a brief instruction on how to get down to our cabin. When we got down to barn owl we were just blown away with how beautiful the place was. It's so quiet and the place was spotless, Chris guided us through how things worked and showed us around before leaving and letting us get on with our short stay. If you love nature then I highly recommend staying here. The bed was comfy the hot tub was amazing the whole set up with the solar lights out side just gave it that romantic touch which was a big plus. We ventured out during the day into bideford and clovelly which both seem as though they would be miles away from where we are staying but both was within 20mins drive. And if you've never visited clovelly I'd highly recommend it. Chris was a brilliant host and nothing was ever to much trouble for him to make sure our stay memorable. Chris told me he got the place just before lockdown and he fell in love with it and I can see why as me and my partner both fell in love with it too. Chris is an Absolutely lovely guy and a top bloke we will 100% be returning and in the mean time wish Chris and his family all the best going forward.
