We really struck lucky when we booked a cottage at Lands Court, both with the location in Appledore, and in the accommodation itself. The whole little lane of cottages is so pretty and well cared for, including the communal garden. Inside, our cottage was beautifully and thoughtfully equipped, not just with our welcome pack (for dogs too!) but with a load of books and DVDs to borrow, Orla Keily bath stuff, huge fluffy towels, crisp cotton bed linen.. it's everything we could have wished for. In addition, our hosts were extremely welcoming, kind and generous, without being in our faces at all. We definitely intend to rebook and look forward to returning to this delightful place.

We stayed in the cottage over Xmas 2017. The cottage is large, warm and very comfortable. There is a secure garden (terrier - proof). Paula left a very generous hamper full of treats. This was our fourth Xmas in Appledore, this was the best cottage that we have rented. The location is perfect, central yet quiet. Highly recommended, we would love to return.
