I have been with this practice for over 30 years and I cannot fault them. My doctor Dr Danielson is probably the best GP I've ever had. Today I had a medical emergency and have to say the service I received from this practice was above and beyond. The receptionist that took my call was very understanding and showed me great compassion. Dr Lee phoned through to the hospital and I was seen and diagnosed very quickly! So thank you Wooda Surgery you really are the best. Special thanks to Dr Lee!

Excellent surgery. They have really looked after my dad. Nothing is too much trouble. Empathetic doctors makes such a difference

The doctors are lovely here one of the receptionists needs some customer service training and waiting 3 weeks for a doctors appointment is a bit off putting. Out of 4 appointments ive only met my doctor once. Newest update apparently even crying and begging on a phone to see or speak to your doctor doesn't work. I've worked all my life always paid for prescriptions etc bit yet can't even get into see adopter. I've never known anything like it. Ring in the morning to see by chance if you can speak to your doctor for a phone appointment. This surgery really knows how to make somebody's anxiety problem worse

Twice in the last six months I have had bland rudeness from two different receptionists at Wooda Surgery. The latest occurred after immense and inexplicable difficulty getting information from Exeter RDE Hospital onto Wooda surgeries information records, but there was absolutely no excuse for them to hang up the phone on me and call me abusive. The phone call followed two fruitless visits to the surgery to try and resolve the same issue. The last reviewer said more or less the same about receptionist rudeness. I just wish to add some of the reception staff are absolutely lovely, but one or two are bad apples. The practise manager whom I spoke with immediately afterwards gave me all sorts of details about the efforts they had been making to get the missing information, but when I checked with the hospital this was completely denied. There had been one eMail only, at my instigation, they said. For years and years I have always left chocolates at reception for their staff at Christmas, but right now I feel like not bothering any longer. God only knows how on earth the rude staff would cope with a Tourettes patient - but I suspect it would be more or less even odds.
