The Waffle Shack (Bideford)

Ordered waffles from here before and have been amazing however the past couple times have been very disappointing, the size of the waffle has noticeably been smaller , the toppings have been lacklustre and the white chocolate sause looked off from what we usually get, tried to sort something out and customer service was going nowhere, was asked to return them to get a refund but couldn't because unable to drive and expected to pay for a delivery driver to collect them. We was even told it was our fault and our poor decision to order what we did even though we have ordered the same thing before and had not problems. Placed an order for delivery over the phone. Was very confused throughout the whole order process especially when I was told they would phone me when it was ready. Drove down to them (inside Chicken Shack - which we didn't know to begin with) and spoke with another staff member, who was really helpful. Paid for our order and came home as she said she would deliver it. When it arrived we realised one of our waffles was missing - the guy taking the order hadn't added it. Ordering was all just a bit of a nightmare. But the food was good

If you have an allergy dont think about coming here, they dismiss you or tell you that you cant get anything from there! I have had similar experiences however this is poor. I also can not find the place on the food standards agency so think about that before ordering or buying anything from here!

Just dont bother Ordered online, order accepted and was informed 50 mins to collect. Went to fetch them to be told, sorry we havent made them said theyd tried to call us but no missed calls at all Said they would refund us (27) well wait and see might need to visit them again Trust the JustEat reviews and just dont bother
