Just wanted to say that I had a great experience with Lauren Bealy in branch today. She was super friendly and made my visit an enjoyable and pleasant one. Fab customer service.

Utterly useless. Close branches in favour of a caravan for two hours once a fortnight, fifteen minute wait to get through to a computerised voice, wrong information, phone goes dead before you even get answered. Avoid.

After attempting to use the mobile bank van in Great Torringto we were advised that we would need to visit a bricks and motor store for the following reasons. 1 - We could not pay in more than 10 bags of change per day. They would not give us a reason for this and instead told us that the Bideford store would be able to handle this for us. 2 - They are unable to do basic account management, closing of an old disused account and opening of an ISA 3 - They are not able to give us advice on opening a savings account for child and advised again to go to a store or do it ourselves online. We therefore attended the store in Bideford and were told that they too are unable to allow us the luxury of depositing funds into our own account. The lady was also very rude when we asked about closing down one account as it is now dormant (due to a low rate) and advised us that we would need to book an appointment to be able to open a basic childs savings account. I like to think that I am a very reasonable person and I can't recall a time I have given such a negative review. However this businesses policies and manner they deem appropriate to talk to users falls well below what I would deem appropriate.
