Exemplar of how the best estate agents should be. Thomas Merrifield provided us with the best service we could ask for and we recommend them highly to anyone looking to sell property, and particularly the Bicester office. We had three valuations done on the property we were selling (an old listed cottage in Launton near Bicester). We chose Thomas Merrifield as our estate agents due to the friendly yet professional approach of Jon who made the valuation and the obvious experience he and Thomas Merrifield in general had selling properties of the same type both within Launton and the surrounding area. Thomas Merrifield produced a lovely brochure for the cottage, with great pictures and description. They also posted the cottage to online property selling sites and arranged viewing days which they facilitated on our behalf. Through out the sale process, Jon kept in regular touch and at all times provided us with wise counsel without being directive and was also able to steer us through every issue that arose, and even facilitated a local craftsman to come in and do some emergency work on our behalf. He also kept in regular touch with the buyer and both our solicitors to ensure the sale kept moving forward. We also found all the staff at Thomas Merrifield to be very friendly both in person and over the phone. We were always welcomed warmly when we visited the office. Sarah even visited the cottage weekly to keep a check on it for us while it was vacant which was a great help as we were selling from south of London. We cannot rate Thomas Merrifield (Bicester) highly enough as estate agents, they went above and beyond our expectation, such that it really was a pleasure to be selling through them even through those stressful periods that occur when selling any property.
