Fundamentals Childcare Limited

I called to ask for availability for 2 sessions for my son as it is listed on their website that the minimum is 2 sessions, I was told we only have full time availability and that they don't take 2 sessions even though I have a friend that takes her son for 2 sessions over there, few weeks later I called back in hope I can get 2 sessions after I explained the condition of my son who has hearing difficulties and that I needed him to be around other children in hope he might start speaking and this time I was told something completely different, that they do take 2 sessions however starting from March they'll increase it which is fine and again the lady kept saying that if she takes us they'll lose a place for children who wants full time, so basically it's either full time to get as much as possible off me or nothing! Very very disappointed by this

Understaffed maybe? What I know is that my sons confidence went down the hill. Every day I felt told off for not being a good enough parent and my son would come home telling me that he is a bad creature because nobody wanted to play with him. Thankfully we left and my son is thriving in the new setting.

Our daughter has attended Fundamentals for almost 3 years. She absolutely loves it there. We have seen continuous improvements in her development and she surprises us every day. Shes always excited to attend and comes out with a spring in her step! The staff are brilliant. Our daughter is always speaking about them away from nursery. They are always really friendly and informative on pick up and drop off. During the pandemic, they supported all parents with changes and restrictions and were very flexible in their approach. Which helped us massively. We cant thank them enough for their support and development of our daughter.

Having loved our previous nursery, moving to Bicester and choosing Fundamentals Childcare for our youngster was not an easy decision to make. We as parents were anxious about another change in our child's life and how unsettling this could be for them. I am delighted to say it was the BEST decision we could possibly have made. From the management to the key workers, all the staff showed their genuine care and interest in our child from the outset. Knowing they were happy, safe and well cared for is such a huge comfort when parent-guilt strikes. We could see intellectual, emotional and character development on a daily basis and they have laid the foundations for school-life perfectly. I honestly would not hesitate to send another child to Fundamentals Childcare.

A safe, secure and happy learning environment awaits any child or baby that attends Fundamentals Childcare. Our child has just graduated to a little local primary school from Fundamentals and couldn't have been better prepared, with great transition support from the nursery. Our child learned many valuable skills and had such a happy nurturing experience here. Each member of staff was uniquely chosen by the team managers Ann and Sonja and that is what makes Fundamentals such a warm and welcoming Nursery family. Each day our child would be so excited to attend nursery and eager to play and learn and that is down to the extensive planning and hard work that went into all the exciting activities and experiences the children and babies are given. We wish the Fundamentals team all the very best for a long future providing childcare in Bicester.
