Administration at this surgery is shockingly bad. Poor communication, lost documents, unhelpful and rude staff at times. I would leave if the situation weren't hugely complex and it wouldn't add hours more to my things to do.

I know COVID has affected a lot of services and this is nothing personal but I'm extremely dissatisfied with this "health centre". Not with the individuals as I haven't even had an opportunity to meet any of them. I have a chronic health condition and since moving into the area I have not been able to order my prescriptions or get an appointment with a doctor. I had a (phone) appointment booked in for a asthma check up (with a nurse) and they didn't even bother to call even though I had to wait 2 weeks to even get n appointment.

Totally used the pandemic to not see patients face to face unless you jump through a myriad of hoops...disgusting

I am really appalled at the service I have received. I rang the surgery yesterday explaining that I had left my contraception pills at my uni accommodation and that I was back home with my mum in a different county. I was told originally that I would receive a phone call by a doctor who would prescribe me a months worth which would be sent to a pharmacy near me electronically. I later went to the pharmacy several times and rang this morning and they had no idea what I was talking about. I rang the surgery back this morning to be told that the doctor had not sent my prescription at all he had left it on the counter at the surgery. This error has related in me missing vital medication as i need to take 1 a day otherwise it stops working which is understandably a vital concern to me. After explaining my concerns to the receptionist I felt that she was taking the error personally and returned my concerns with passive aggressive comments. All I wanted was to be reassured was that this same error was not going to occur again as instead of just sending the ready made prescription electronically (which i know can be done as I have worked in a doctors surgery) I was told that the process I did yesterday would start all over again. I am now waiting for a phone call again for the same thing I rang about yesterday. A waste of my time and yours. If another error is made this will result in me missing another vital pill which will result in my hole months worth of contraception useless as you cannot miss more then 2 in a pack. I would expect a little more compassion from a medical establishment.
