Buildings are a little bit plain but, crucially, are warm and work correctly. The Teachers and Estates staff were rightly watchful and cautious (checking my ID) whilst being polite and professional.
The suggestion I have would be that it would be good to have a cafe / break-out area. The canteen looked OK but not really somewhere to hang out.
That said: the lack of vending machines and junk food is a GOOD thing - too many schools indulge too much in that.
Overall was impressed. Can't speak for it academically, although my fresh eyes saw that it is a friendly and welcoming school.
