SMC Campers - Custom VW Campervans

SMC campers did a great job on the 1st stage of my T6 camper conversion which included fitting a pop roof, and I've now scheduled the next stage to be completed. Christien is always happy to offer advice on the pros and cons of different components for your van.

Christien was fantastic. He is so conscientious, knowledgeable, experienced and his attention to detail is second to none. The van was finished to such a high standard and he was always available for little queries and questions. Buying a van from SMC you can be confident everything has been done to the highest quality and safety standards. I am so happy with my van and would recommend SMC to anyone looking for a camper van.

We wanted to stay local for our van conversion so when we discovered SMC Campers was in our area it made perfect sense to go with them. Christien was an absolute pleasure to deal with, he kept us well informed throughout with regular updates, phone calls, emails and photo's. He is a perfectionist and the quality of his work is exceptional with all components being hand built from scratch. We are over the moon with the conversion, its definitely "built to a standard and not to a cost" , and having a 12 months conversion warranty is great peace of mind. After having a self inflicted disaster with the pop top roof on our camper (which we had only had one week! ) We exhausted every available option, no one wanted to go near the job because of how hard it looked, we were against the clock because as soon as it started to rain it would get in and cause possible irreparable damage, when I called Christien who was my last hope, he initially said he had too much work on and was sorry that he couldn't help. 15 minutes later he called back and said he felt he would have to help as he knew no one else would, we arrived 2 hours later, and within 2.5 hours he had worked through all the many problems involved and had it fixed. I don't think he will ever know how grateful we are, not just for the help, but the willingness to help when no one else would. He is a true gent, Christien and Kerry made us feel welcome and valued, we are so grateful, I would recommend them to anyone. It seems harder and harder to find good help, these guys are the real deal.

Having 30+ years in the motor trade, I can speak from genuine experience. You will not find anybody doing what Christian and Kerry do at SMC Campers. The attention to detail, the time spent selecting the best materials available, and the clear personal aspect to your camping investment. I have seen the rest, and Im telling you these are the BEST.
