Having being to the hayride before and enjoyed, I wish I could say the same when I visited on may the 1st the pub had obviously being busy as the pub did not have a table that was empty of glasss and plates, nor was there any staff to clean the pub either, no bar staff either, we had to wait a long time to get served and wait even longer to get our food, then when it came, the main course came before the starter, there was glasss on the table from previous customers, no attempt was made to remove them or wipe our table, the main course was spoilt because it was left on a hot plate until we had eaten our starter, the pub was trashed with empty food plates and glasss all over the place, in fact they remained uncleared most of the time we where there, the assistant manager was the only one bringing food out cleaning up and doing everything, I said you need some help, he then proceeded to tell me that he had done 70 hours that week because 4 staff where on permanent sick leave, it really was terrible with hygiene and service with good quality food not on the menu, very disappointed

Food below average. Wait time ridiculous . 1 person serving behind a bar while there's a queue waiting to be served. The pub it self is nicely done out with a play park. Such a shame
