I came across Pete through a recommendation and I am very happy to recommend him as a personal trainer in turn. I am in my mid-60s and really value the work I have done with Pete to improve my fitness, stamina, flexibility and self-confidence since retiring from full-time work. As well as being an excellent and enthusiastic personal training coach, Pete's previous experience in business and before that as a paratrooper also make him a great mentor encouraging me to get the best out of myself. My 30 minute PT sessions with Pete are just the right amount of time and I enjoy training outdoors in his local park or his home gym in the Winter, which I much prefer to training in a large gym.

I really enjoy my 1 to 1 sessions with Pete. Workouts are challenging and always different and although Pete pushes you hard, very hard, he is always full of encouragement and enthusiasm which keeps you focused and drives you on. My strength and fitness have improved massively under Pete's tutelage and I feel better than I have done for years. If you want a first rate personal trainer who really knows his stuff and can help you improve your strength and fitness quickly then look no further - Pete is your man.

As a participant of 20 or so of Pete Bodley-Scotts boot camps Id like to recommend them and explain to a newcomer what theyre all about. Some background: Pete was an Officer in the Parachute Regiment, to those that dont follow these things the Parachute Regiment is the British Armys elite, fast-moving, highly aggressive land taking force and historically the main feeder regiment for our Special Air Service. They have always placed a massive premium on physical conditioning. The boot camps are 30 minutes in duration and limited to 16 participants per session. Theyre essentially a form of HIIT or High-Intensity Interval Training. The circuits we conduct alternate between weight exercises and body resistance exercises, on repeat. Youll do circa 8 weight stations and the commensurate amount of body resistance segments such as plank variations, press ups, crunch style toe taps, star jumps, in a 15 minute half. You then do it again. Some observations: Despite the background described above its an extremely friendly and welcoming environment. There are people of all abilities and body types. Theres a strong female weighting. The average age is about 38. The weight stations have different gradations of weights so you suit yourself, although you will be encouraged by Pete to crack on and fulfil your maximum. The nature of the circuit is that its self-correcting, it takes up its own slack: Everyone is working to the extent of their limits. The stronger will do more reps in the allotted time. The commonality: everyone is ruined by the end of each block. Pete is big on a whole lifestyle approach to fitness and emphasises nutrition, as well as exercise, as being key to any successful, sustainable regimen. Come along and park your ego and fears at the gate. It will hurt I will promise you that, but you wont regret it.
