We came pre-covid and this place was absolutely wonderful. 3 years on, I was so disappointed. No ice cream in the front. No chef on either. We ordered a ploughman's sandwich, a croissant and a chicken Caesar salad. Everything came out and was clearly stale and from the day before. My daughter would normally inhale a croissant but said it was too dry. Husbands sandwich was dry, and the salad was inedible. Green slimy bits of lettuce with far too much dressing, what appeared to be the breakfast bacon with long pieces of rind, and some very dry chicken. This plus 3 drinks cost us 30 and was all inedible. Top it off the glass was absolutely filthy (see pic). Real shame because this used to be a wonderful place, but stay clear, there are lots of better coffee shops for half the price in 3 minutes walking distance.

The worst lunch I have ever had. Tea pot without a lid and a cheese and pickle sandwich. The bread roll was dry, stale and undigestable and the cheese slice curled up at the edges. The side salad was mush. The waitress was very pleasant but NEVER again will I vist.
