        I was cycling down to Hull on a bike tour and called in for an emergency repair when my bottom bracket came loose. I had a window of several days but the bloke refused to book me in or help out saying they were 'too busy' . I don't think I've ever been refused an on the road repair before, even the busiest mechanics will generally try and help out. I went to Wilsons at Beverley, left the bike and they fixed it in a few hours and charged next to nothing.... and I was on my way again.
