The staff are always so helpful, i went in yesterday with no clue of what i needed but had a voucher so thought i may aswell browse- the lady who served me was so lovely and sweet (i dont know her name but she was pregnant & had brown hair). Honestly it was such a warm and easy experience.

I visited this store yesterday lunch time with my mum and sister and felt the need to leave feedback as the young lady behind the counter was so enthusiastic and helpful and had excellent product knowledge. Her employer needs to know what a gem they have here - Mrs B

I have given a 1 as when I initially called the lady she was helpful. I entered the store at 4.45 on Tuesday 24th Jan the lady was mopping the floor I began to walk over to the far corner to look for a gift, the lady said can I help you I replied no thank you I continued to browse I was then asked are you here to collect shampoo I replied yes, I was then told I should have said (not sure why) I was then asked again what I was looking for and I said a foot mask she replied very rudely I would have told you we didnt have any when I asked you if I could help I the went over to look at the range of shampoo that I was about to purchase I said I was looking for a hair oil I had seen online to which she said thats the full range so it cant of been body shop (in an argumentative manner). I will not return and instead chose to shop online! May I add there was 2 ladies one was very friendly!

Popped into the Beverley store today to pick up a bottle of toner for the wife. Explained to the shop assistant that I had an email which was a Birthday reward which is something Body Shop offer if you sign up. The shop assistant, very rudly asked to see my Body Shop card to which I explained I didn't have with me, she then explained without the card they probably wouldn't be able to process it, i explained i had the email, to which she asked for my surname and date of birth, again with her attitude issue she tapped in the letters and numbers on the till (keep hitting it like that, its not going to work much longer). She failed to find my details and explained I wasn't on the system. I told her to just process my payment and it didn't matter at which point I think she realised how she'd spoken to me and the other customers waiting were now listening in. She now requested my email address again to which I explained it didn't matter (I had already offered to show her my emails twice). She now raised her voice slightly and said "If you just give me your email address, I can check". I became stubborn at this point and told her no, I will just pay thank you. Purchase was made and me and my children swiftly left the store and will never return to the Beverley store again. Disgraceful service and that particular member of staff needs some training. Says it all when your 8 year old daughter says "that lady was in a mood wasn't she".
