Halfords - Mile End Road

Please watchout for the max 2hrs free parking. I luckily was able to quickly purchase and return to my car with only 10mins left. I totally lost track of time going in and out of the store trying things on my car. The shop will allow you take something to the car for testing if you leave your mobile phone behind at the cash desk. In my recent visit I was served my Nazmul who was knowledgeable. The Ipad style computer was wrong and said my bulbs for my car was not in stock. Luckily my bulbs were generic which means most cars use similar bulb types. I found them behind me.

We have been to Halfords several times to get our bikes fixed, and during our first visit, we were impressed with the excellent service provided by a lady who worked there. She was quick and kind, and everything was done perfectly. However, over time, the quality of service has deteriorated significantly. On one occasion, when I had a puncture and went inside to have it fixed, they ended up messing up the lighting on my bike, turning a 10-minute job into a 1.5-hour ordeal. They even pulled out some cables, which left the bike looking unsightly. We had to return to the shop when they also messed up the brakes, but at least they were able to fix them the second time around. During our last visit, we were charged 20 just for fixing a puncture, and they charged an additional 10 for labor fees for replacing the inner tube and another 10 for the tire. It seems unfair to charge double for putting the tire back on, which they have to do anyway. As a result of these experiences, I have decided to find another bike repair shop for future repairs.
