        I have just popped down to bleetmans (14:30) to pick up my new glasses and the shutters were down, says on the site that they close at 15:15, please advise or amend, thank you, would never had happened in Mr and Mrs Bleetman's day,

        Yes, I agree with all the positive reviews here. Bleetmans have been my opticians for the last 37 years and i cannot recommend highly enough. Friendly service, excellent array of glasses frames, explanations of what is happening to one's eyesight, I think everone there is a people peraon too.

        A friend of mine recommended Bleetman's to me. Its not flashy inside like the typical chain of big new corporate opticians now around but don't let that put you off, the guy there is fantastic. You get so much more than Specsavers here. The guy there really pays attention to detail, is incredibly helpful and you get the best care for your eyes. They don't push you to spend like other big chains who put you under pressure. If you are local to the area would highly recommend this optician. I'm so glad I found them and happy to support local Independent businesses.

        Ive been coming here since I was a child, I now live in South London but still come here as they're excellent. I get a thorough eye exam and changes in my eyesight are explained. Staff are always super friendly and jovial.
